Printing by Hand - Estampar a mà

Seguint amb els regalets de reis que vaig mencionar al meu post, avui us porto un tastet del “Printing by Hand”. Un llibre amb tècniques per estampar roba i altres articles a mà.

Els materials utilitzats no són especialment difícils de trobar; gúbies, cúter, plaques de goma, fusta... potser el més difícil és la part de serigrafia i com fer la pantalla o trobar-ne una. Les tècniques s’expliquen per ordre de dificultat; comença amb la estampació amb segells, després les plantilles d’acetat i finalment les pantalles per serigrafia.

El llibre proposa uns quants projectes, però com sempre les possibilitats són infinites i la inspiració ve sola mirant les pàgines.

Regarding to my Christmas gifts I mentioned in my post, let me share with you a preview of the book "Printing by Hand". A book about Printing fabric and other items by hand.

The materials used are not particularly difficult to find, gouges, cutter, rubber plates, wood ... perhaps the most difficult part is how to screen Printing and make a silk screen or find one. The techniques are explained in order of increasing difficulty, beginning with printing stamps, acetate templates and finally screens for screen printing.

The book makes several projects proposals, but as usually, possibilities are endless and inspiration comes only at looking at the pages.
