Tornem a la feina! No és que hagi estat sense fer res; tots aquells que teniu fills m’entendreu quan us digui que els fills en edat infantil esgoten més que qualsevol feina!

Tot i així, les meves vacances les he dedicades als meus tresors, que encara que grans consumidores de temps i energia es mereixen passar unes vacances amb el papa i la mama al 100%.

Han estat dies de moltes emocions, els nervis del tió, l’arribada del nou any, els reis i entre mig de les festes “oficials” algunes activitats lúdiques; l’arbre de Nadal, el parc de Nadal, la pista de patinatge, el zoo, la cavalcada de reis...

Poc a poc, aniré explicant i ensenyant alguns dels grans moments que hem passat aquests nadals.

I’m back to work! It is not that I've been doing nothing; those who have children will understand me if I say that children in childhood are more exhausting than working in the office!

However, I have dedicated my vacation completely to my treasures, although they are major time and energy consumers, they deserve a holiday with Dad and Mum at 100% availability.

It’s been many days of emotions, Christmas time, the arrival of the New Year, the three WiseMen and between the "official" holydays some recreational activities, the Christmas tree, the Christmas park, the skating rink, the visit at the zoo, the Three Wise Men Parade...

Gradually, I will show and explain some of the great moments we had this Christmas.

Christmas season - És temps de Nadal

I per fi entrem en mode "ON" a Nadal! Han estat dies de jornades llargues de feina però finalment ahir vaig arribar amb la feina feta.

El cap de setmana vam aprofitar la visita d'uns amics per posar el pessebre i veure el video de nadales.

And finally our family entered mode "ON" for Christmas Season! I left over two months of long days at work, overloaded but finally yesterday I got the job done.

Over the weekend we took the opportunity of our friends visit and put the crib on the table and watch a Christmas carolls sing along video.

Ja fa temps que segueixo el blog de l’Apanona i he de dir que m’agrada tot el que fa!! 

Apanona, tal com ella es defineix, segueix les darreres tendències en moda infantil, decoració, llibres infantils, joguines, papereria, així com la il·lustració, la fotografia, la música o el handmade...

És un blog amb gust per una estètica senzilla però a la vegada amb unes il·lustracions impressionants. Així que, pensant en les festes i també pel gust de donar-me un caprici, li vaig fer una comanda d’alguns dels articles que hi ha a la venda.

For some time I’ve been following the Apanona blog and I must say that I like absolutely everything she does!

Apanona, as she describes herself, follows the latest trends in kids fashion, decor, children's books, toys, stationery, as well as illustration, photography, music and handmade ...

Apanona is a blog designed with a simple aesthetic, but also including her stunning illustrations. So, thinking about Christmas, but also because I think I deserve a treat, I ordered some of the items she has on sale.

A Christmas Journal - Diari de Nadal

This year I will do a Christmas Journal! 

This journal, named in Spain after Diario de Navidad  is an album to document, photograph and write about Christmas. The dates can be chosen to suit everyone , there are those who document only Advent, some beginning December 1^st and ending 6^th January (Three Wise Men), some people who are only journaling the special dates, some people beginning at Christmas and ending on the 6^th january... Definetly, this is an album made ​​before the chosen journaling dates and documented with photos and writing and ephemera for the chosen dates.

I will start on December 1st and will end on the 6^th January, I will probably not document every day, but I will problably get 7 or 8 more representative photos each week and will explain the most significant events of the week or even put some magazine, catalogue, newspapers or ticket scraps...

The style of the Christmas Journal album has no fixed rule, deppending on personal taste everyone tries to find and album that best suits for his/her purposes, or find and easy way to make or buy it... The blog Diario de Navidad offers nine different proposals for the same project ; - o)

I have decided to use an album with traditional 8x8 inches scrapbooking sheets that I will mix with acetate sheets and perhaps plastic envelopes that I will sew myself because I do not have plastic sheets with separations . 

The structure will be the ring binder of Sants Paperets so I do not need to worry about binding and at the same time I will also add some scrap sheets, acetates and plastic envelopes without having to decide about it in advance.

I'll use several scrapbooking collections I have already at home since some time ago, in red, green, white and gold. I have also a Fiskars Christmas kit at home with enough embellishment, alphabets, tags, ribbons ... I will do a combination of the kit with some material that I have already at home such as washi tape, ribbons and other tags. I also plan to make my own labels and tags; this is a challenge for me!

Aquest any faré el Diari de Nadal!

El Diari de Nadal és un àlbum per documentar, fotografiar i escriure sobre els nadals. Les dates poden escollir-se al gust de cadascú; hi ha qui ho fa els dies d’advent, hi ha qui comença l’1 de desembre i acabava per Reis, hi ha qui només fa les dates festives, hi ha qui comença per Nadal i acaba per Reis... en fi, es tracta de fer un àlbum abans de les dates escollides i després documentar amb fotos i journaling durant les dates escollides.

Jo començaré l’1 de desembre i acabaré per Reis; segurament no documentaré cada dia, però si que posaré 7 o 8 fotos més representatives de cada setmana i faré un escrit explicant els fets més significatius de la setmana o fins i tot hi penjaré retalls de revistes, catàlegs, diaris, tiquets... tot el que se m’acudeixi...

L’estil de l´àlbum del Diari de Nadal no té cap regla fixa; que cadascú el faci com més li convingui, o més fàcil li resulti o més li agradi... El blog del Diari ofereix nou propostes diferents per a un mateix projecte ;-o)

Jo m’he decidit per un àlbum d’scrap tradicional amb fulls de 20x20cm, que alternaré amb fulls d’acetat i potser també fundes de plàstic que cosiré jo mateixa perquè no disposo de fundes amb separacions. 

L’estructura serà l’àlbum d’anelles del Sants Paperets i així no em cal preocupar-me per haver d’enquadernar i a la vegada les anelles em permetran afegir els fulls d’scrap, els d’acetat i les fundes com més em convingui en cada moment, sense haver de decidir-ho per avançat.

Pels papers faré servir col·leccions vàries que tinc a casa de fa temps, tots en tonalitats dels colors de Nadal; vermells, verds, blancs i dorats. A més tinc un kit de Nadal de la casa Fiskars i que portava prous embellishment, abecedaris, tags, cintes... Faré una combinació del kit amb material que ja tinc a casa com ara washi tape, altres cintes i tags. També tinc pensat elaborar les meves pròpies etiquetes i tags; això és tot un repte i ja veuré si me’n sortiré...
