**Two weeks ago I was marooned by Herbie! At 8.55h in the morning and the car loaded with my two little girls, Herbie didn’t want to start up... I was left at the basement car park, without telephone coverage ... I took the girls and left the car, reached the street, called travel assistance and waited for half an hour to the arrival of a man with a backpack with a battery booster and when I finally got it ... the engine did not start up! Then I had to wait again for the crane and I had to make a call at work asking for someone helping me, because I had a very important meeting and could not miss it. A colleague kindly drove home... while the crane arrived and loaded Herbie, which finally was launched! The crane took Herbie to the hospital and I was feelling anxious to know if either Herbie was too old or if he had something serious... (poor fellow he’s over fifteen!)
Finally I could load the children in my friend’s car to take them to school. My biggest daughter lived it as a great adventure and the little one had a pretty good fun as well...
Finally,
after more than two hours, I could arrive to the meeting, which fortunately had
not yet begun.
The day after
when I talked to the mechanic and he made clear to me that Herbie was not yet
in big trouble, I paid an amazing bill and sat behind the wheel of my fellow. Thanks to everyone who helped me and all those who were worried about Herbie and asked for some news about him! ;-)
