Tastet de llibres d'scrapbooking - Sneak pick of scrapbooking related books

Avui, us vull explicar i ensenyar un tastet d’uns llibres que em vaig comprar fa més d’un any... Coses que passen; tenia molta feina per fer i un embaràs per passar i volia ensenyar-vos aquests “Tresors” amb calma.

Els vaig comprar la primera vegada que vaig entrar al Patide Llibres. Tenia una panxa immensa de l’embaràs i no em podia moure gaire bé i la Sònia, molt amablement, em va treure tots els llibres de manualitats que tenia; sobretot relacionats amb l’scrapbooking.

I aleshores vaig fullejar aquests dos llibres i vaig “alucinar”... Mare meva, quin munt d’idees i quins llibres més preciosos i ben explicats que tenia a les mans!! Són un pou de saviesa i bones idees per fer àlbums i llibres d’scrap de tota mena!!

Bé, no us explico res més... aquí us deixo un tastet!! De debó que si us agrada fer àlbums, us els recomano; els podeu trobar o encarregar al Pati de Llibres.

Today, I want to explain and show you a sneak pick of some books I bought over a year ago ... This things happen; I had much work to do and was pregnant and wanted to show these "treasures" in stride.

I bought them the first time I walked into the Pati de Llibres. I had a huge pregnancy belly and I could not move very well and Sonia very kindly showed me all craft books she had, especially related to scrapbooking.

And when I opened them it was fascinating the huge amount of ideas and I thought they were so lovely and well explained! They are a well of wisdom and good ideas to make albums and scrap books of all kinds!

La jubilació - Retirement

Avui la mestra de l’Anna es jubila!! Mare meva, quina sort poder-hi arribar! La meva mare no hi va poder arribar; li hagués tocat aquest any... Pero la meva generació ni tan sols tindrem la sort de poder rebre alguna paga de jubilació quan ens arribi l’edat, que ja no serà als 65...

En fi, que com que és una data prou important vaig decidir fer-li un detallet per donar-li les gràcies per haver cuidat i estimat a l’Anna. I sobretot perquè algú que porta 37 anys treballant en una llar d’infants, educant els nens del futur, es mereix com a mínim que li tinguin en compte!! Gràcies Teresa per la teva dedicació!!

Today, Anna's teacher gets retired! Oh, my Gosh, how lucky she is! My mother could not arrive at this point, she would have retired this year... But my generation will not even have the good fortune to receive some retirement pay when we reach the age, that will no longer be at 65 ...

Anyway, as it is such an important date I decided to give her a little gift to thank her for taking care and loving Anna. And especially, because someone who has been working for 37 years in a day care, educating the children of the future, deserves at least that! Thanks Teresa for your dedication!

Bandolera – City satchel

Ja fa mig any que havia comprat teles de lona per fer una bandolera que vaig veure al llibre “Sew What Bags” del Pati de Llibres. Va resultar que per falta de temps no havia pogut acabar la bandolera i finalment, vaig aprofitar les classes de patch per acabar-la. La mida la vaig decidir jo en funció de les polzades que hi havia al projecte del llibre, i com que m’agraden les bosse moooolt grans vaig optar per una mida de 35cm x 45 cm. No hi ha gaire modificacions respecte al projecte original; m’he saltat una butxaca lateral i he posat buata entre la roba exterior i el folre.

És una passada de bossa, però la tela és molt primaveral, així que a casa meva, a estones, vaig fent la versió tardor-hivern en tons grisos i negres... Ja us en penjaré el resultat!

It's been half a year now, since I bought fabric to sew a City satchel I saw at the book "Sew What Bags" in Pati de Llibres. It turned out to be that due to time constraints I failed to finish the bag in a short period and finally, I took the unfinished project to my weekly patchwork lessons. I decided the size according more or less on the inches that were in the book project, and since I like veryyyyy big bags I chose a size of 35cm x 45 cm. There are not many modifications of the original project, I skipped a side pocket and I added some wadding between outerwear and fleece.

The bag is amazing, but the fabric is very spring-like, so at home, I’m working on the autumn-winter version, with some gray and black fabrics ... I’ll show you the result!

Per molts anys princesa! - Happy birthday princess!

Avui la meva princesa petita fa un any!! Avui fa un any que tenim a l’Anna amb nosaltres, fa un any de rialles, fa un any que la Teresa es va convertir en la germaneta gran, fa un any que ens vam “espantar” quan vam veure que teniem a la nena més “follonera” de la nurserie (per sort, quan vam arribar a casa vas deixar de plorar), fa un any que som encara més feliços del que érem; fa un any...!

Anna t’estimem infinit i som molt feliços amb el teu primer aniversari!!

Today my little princess is one year old! One year ago, Anna was born; it’s been a year of laughter, a year ago Teresa became the older sister, a year ago we were "scared" when we realised we had the more "weeping" baby of the whole hospital (fortunately, all that weeping went off as soon as we arrived home); a year ago we turned to be even happier than we were, a year ago ...!

Anna we love you “up to infinity” and we are very happy with your first birthday!

Dissabte passat Sant Cugat es va llevar “enfarinat”, la Teresa estava convidada  a la festa de la seva amigueta però encara vaig tenir temps de fer un parell de fotos. Per qui és de país fred, una nevadeta no és cap novetat, però pels qui som de Barcelona, una nevadeta a l’any és noticia...

 Last Saturday when it dawned in Sant Cugat it was snowy. Teresa was invited to the birthday party of her friend but I could find the time to take a couple of photographs.For someone born or living in a cold country, having some snow is nothing new, but for those, like me, from Barcelona, having some snow is something to talk about ...

1.- ¿Qué materiales son imprescindibles para hacer Scrap? Els meus imprescindibles són les cartulines, els papers estampats d’scrap, cinta de doble cara, troqueladores, rotuladors de gel de colors, segells i washi tape. 
2.- ¿Qué te gusta mas del Scrap? Per mi l’scrap es una font de desconnexió i de creativitat personal.
3.- ¿Qué técnica te gusta mas del Scrap? L’embossing en calent
4.- ¿Cual es tu color preferido? Quan faig scrap no tinc colors preferits; tinc combinacions de colors que m’agraden
5.- ¿Cómo descubriste el Scrap? Una noia va penjar un post sobre l’scrapbooking al forum Socpetit; vaig fer una cerca per internet i se’m va obrir tot un món de possibilitats
6.- Un Blog que te inspire... N’hi ha molts! M’inspiren les fotografies boniques, els tutorials senzills, els post plens de vivències i filosofia

1. - What materials are necessary to Scrap? My essential are cardstock, scrap papers, double-sided tape, stampers, colored gel pens, stamps and washi tape.
2. - What do you like best about Scrap? For me scraping is a source of personal creativity and disconnection.

4. - What is your favorite color? When I scrap I have no favorite colors, I have color combinations that I like
5. - How did you discover Scrapbooking? A girl posted about it on the forum Socpetit, I did a search on the internet and it opened up a world of possibilities
6. - A blog that inspires you ... There are so many! I am inspired by beautiful photographs, simple tutorials, and posts about personal experiences and Philosophy

BCN a la meva... - BCN my way...

Fa un mes, vaig fer un curs de fotografia HDR a Barcelona amb Planeta Insólito (Ja escriuré un post parlant de la meva experiència amb aquesta tècnica) . Com que havia vist fotos fetes amb aquesta tècnica i m'havien cridat l'atenció, vaig aprofitar una oferta per fer aquest curs de 4 hores. Vam fer un recorregut pel Pla de Palau, el Born i el Parc de la Ciutadella i vaig aprofitar per fer unes quantes fotos amb el mòbil i penjar-les a Instagram.

A més, fa quinze dies vam anar a Barcelona amb les nenes perquè a la Teresa li encanta anar en tren. Vam anar amb els ferrocarrils i vam fer una petita volta pel centre de Barcelona; llocs que jo havia visitat sovint quan vivia a Barcelona i vaig tornar a fer unes quantes fotos més.

A month ago, I took a photography HDR course in Barcelona by Planeta Insólito (I'll write a post talking about my experience with this photo technique). I'd seen some photos taken with this technique and it draw my attention, so I took over an offer to do this 4 hours course. We did a tour by Pla de Palau, Born and Parc de la Ciutadella and I took the opportunity to make a few pictures with the phone and hang them on Instagram.

In addition, two weeks ago we went to Barcelona with the girls because Teresa loves going by train. We took the railroad to Barcelona and did a small tour at the city center; places I visited very often when I lived in Barcelona and also took the opportunity to take a few more photos.

Fet i Regalat - Gifts and mades

Ja fa dies que les meves companyes de feina em van sorprendre amb tres super regalets hand-made.

El super porta-pijames per la petita Anna que quan el va veure el va abraçar i li va mossegar el nas (és una petita obsessió que té darrerament això de mossegar el nas a tot i tothom que se li posa per davant).

I els 2 super penjolls per la mama i la Teresa perquè anem "iguals". Us puc assegurar que a la Teresa això d'anar "igual" que la mama li encanta ! Només he pogut fer la foto del meu, perquè la Teresa no se'l treu per res!

A couple of weeks ago, my colleagues at work surprised me with three super hand-made goodies.

The super carrier for pajamas for my little girl Anna that she hugged and bit the nose (it's a small obsession lately; she has to bite everybody's nose).

And the 2 super necklaces for mom and Teresa because we have to wear "equal." I can assure you that Teresa is really motivated for wearing "equal" things that mom wears, she loves it! I only could manage to take a picture of mine, because Teresa doesn't take off it!

Finalment, aprofito l'avinentesa per ensenyar-vos la meva primera bossa hand-made de patchwork. N'estic super orgullosa i la porto a tot arreu, és un sac on hi cap ABSOLUTAMENT TOT!!

Finally, I take the opportunity to show you my first hand-made patchwork bag. I'm so proud of it that I carry it everywhere, is a huge sack where EVERYTHING CAN BE IN!

Últimament estic augmentant la meva producció "costuril"; properament hi haurà més noticies !

Lately I'm increasing my sewing "production", so I hope to give some more news very soon!

Torroja

Dilluns va ser un d’aquells dies que t’has de controlar, respires profundament i finalment t’apliques allò que prediques; CAL VIURE I GAUDIR DE TOT EL QUE ÉS IMPORTANT I MIRAR AMB PERSPECTIVA ELS ENTREBANCS. No cal entrar en detall però ja fa massa dies que al meu voltant les coses es compliquen i se’m compliquen, però respiro i tiro endavant.
Avui em sento amb ganes de veure coses boniques. Us penjo unes fotos del lloc on passava els estius de petita; encara que ara algunes coses han canviat i els meus sentiments són contradictoris; veure aquestes imatges em fa sentir millor.

Monday was one of those days that I had to take control of myself, breathe deeply and finally think of what I’ve been preaching recently: Live and enjoy all important things in life and take a positive outlook to overcome obstacles. There’s no need to go into detail but it’s so many days now, that everything around me gets more and more complicated, but I breathe deeply and go forward.

Today I feel like gazing at beautiful things. I share with you some pictures of the place where I used to spend summer holidays, althought some things have changed and my feelings are a bit messy about this place, these pictures make me feel better.
